Click here for much more inspiration. Actually too much more! ;)

These days I am both very excited and anxious at the same time. Many good things are happening around here which are mostly yet secret! Crossed fingers I can announce the big news so soon with you. But till then lots of works need to be done; tons to be exact!
And there is a few more days until Farshad's return... and I really can't wait anymore. I think I am old for long waitings...

THE VERY FIRST

Hello lovelies. I have something nice to share with you today. Dear Astrid has featured me in her adorable "why do you shoot film" series on her gorgeous blog, Hei Astrid. Go read my answer here.
And there is something so related to that post in this black&white photo: This is the first photo I took with my Analog SLR years ago. The very first one. Printed on Ilford matte paper.

Do you remember your very first printed photo?

PERSIAN BUTTERCUP AND ALL ITS LAYERS

Can you feel the newness of season? It's not just the weather; there is something in your nature which is so positive and powerful in these first days of Spring. Here, I am sitting looking at this beautiful flower and thinking about the coming days. About changes, developments and all the big, or simple days of my future that expect me to greet them in life. I am thinking about this moment that passed just right now and about this year of being twenty-six which will never ever reoccur for me. This strange feeling of growing up, this unknown touch of time on my face, in my eyes and in my heart...
All these thoughts on a beautiful rainy day, which nature is so gracious and so generous, make me feel deeply in love with my life. So deeply that I can't let it pass, not the tiniest instant of it, without my consideration!

Wish everyone a moment, a rare moment, to sit and to suddenly realize how beautiful they are. xo

NOWROOZ COOKIES

Good afternoon, lovelies.
Today is a very delicate rainy day here with beautiful clouds. A real Spring day! So my friend and I took a long walk and enjoyed each other's company.
And these cookies are homemade by mom and me. Our every year's tradition for Nowrooz. Almond, saffron and pistachio! :-)

Have a beautiful day! xo

TWELVE PORTRAITS OF THE YEAR

"When you photograph people in colour you photograph their clothes. When you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls."   Ted Grant

We're in the last hours of this year. So for a brief review of my year I chose a portrait per month. It always feels strange to look back upon past with its all ups and downs. But I should say that this year was more a neutral section of my path in life and not with many ups and downs. Well there's nothing to complain and that's the reason to be thankful.

Dear Persian reader who is reading this in your Google Reader, you should turn the "translate into my language" off. thank you. xo

LAST DAYS OF WINTER

credits : 1. Untitled, 2. Underwater Angels, 3. Untitled, 4. 47:365

It's a beautiful day here. And most of the times when I say a beautiful day I mean a day with pleasant weather. We have only eight days until Spring and well... I am that one who never likes to say goodbye to Winter. Of course I love Spring; the blooms, the gentle air, lovely warm rains. The clean skies and puffy clouds. But there is something special in these last days of Winter that I really appreciate.

Update | Just heard the tsunami news. It's so sad. My thoughts are with people in Japan and all other areas.

NO TITLE

Well... I thought for about fifteen minutes to pick a title for this post; and nothing came to my mind.  This is how my brain works at times.
Okay these are a few more favorites from Film Swap project with Julie. I somehow adore these ones. And I can't really express the reason.

Farshad is away on a trip to U.S. for a month and I am so trying to distract myself by little funny things. So maybe you can tell me something sweet and amusing about your day? I would love to hear!

Have a beautiful Monday, friends! xo

HELLO MARCH

One of the nice traditions of Nowruz is egg coloring for Haft-Sin. And although there is still about twenty days untill Nowruz, Sahar decided to throw an egg coloring party! Sounds fun? Yes that was totally fun. You can see a few more photos here.
